Great bottle for a while, but after a couple of months it revealed a weak point. I undid the screw cap and it took the collar/neck/spout part off with it. Just don't tighten it too much, I suppose. Also, I'd recommend getting in the habit of pressing the screw cap down as you begin to undo it so that you take some of the pressure off the threads to avoid breaking it like I did. It now leaks if not upright so needs to go out. Shame I can't just replace the lid. Otherwise, this is a great bottle. Edit: After posting this review I received an email from Fuel24 letting me know that they sell replacement lids. I ordered a sucky-straw one and it's great. Completely watertight and you get a decent pull on it, plus it has a handy hoop to put a finger through when drinking. Was only about £6 including postage. Review bumped back up to 5-stars. Glad I got to keep this bottle instead of replacing it as it's great.

This seems to be good quality - its stainless steel but the outside is coated in what feels like a really thin rubberised coating of some sort - it makes the bottle a little less cold in cool weather and is pleasant/tactile to touch. The bottle seals well and comes complete with rubber seals for both the wide top and the narrow nozzle/mouthpiece - although the latter seal comes not fitted but in a small bag inside the flask, so watch out for that and make sure you fit it and it doesn't get lost, or the nozzle will not be leakproof. I chose the 'nardo grey' colour and it looks great to me, a warm soft grey. The only slight downside is that there is no strap to put the bottle over your shoulder - that seems to come only with the insulated sleeve that you have to buy separately, whereas I assumed from the product images that it came with the bottle itself - I'd say the strap/sleeve would be well worth getting to save having to hold the bottle the whole time, especially with it being heavier with being a larger capacity than most bottles.

Best water bottle I’ve ever bought, and I’ve had a lot. As a member of the hydrobros, I consume copious amounts of H2O, and the 2.2L size is ideal. I’ve had many bottles of similar size but they’ve always been plastic and they kept breaking on me when I dropped them, which is bleedin annoying when they cost a fair amount. However this one is an absolute unit with its metal construction, and I have pushed it to the absolute limits in my 2+ years of ownership. It comes with me wherever I go and as shown in the video it looks like it’s done 3 tours of Iraq, then been dragged behind an 18 wheeler truck for a trans-continental cargo shipment. *************20 stars, you’ll never buy another bottle, unless a jealous hydrobro steals it, then you’ll buy another one.

Bought this item in addition to the black 2.2L one. So far I have been very impressed with the quality. I had an issue where one of the bottles kept leaking as the rubber seal was missing. I contacted Fuel24 customer service and Ben, a member of their staff, sent out a new cap which fixed the problem. Absolutely fantastic customer service!

The media could not be loaded. Drinking from metal, copper metal, clay or glass is always better than plastic. Easy to clean inside and holds on to the temperature of the drink for a long long time. Love the feel look and build quality of this jug. Definitely a win purchase. Would recommend indeed.

Snygg flaska som fungerar utmärkt på gymmet. Nackdelar: Saknar helt isolering så den håller inte drycken kall speciellt länge. Tror att den kan vara lite jobbig att dricka ur om man har små händer då den saknar handtag. Öppningen som man dricker ur skulle kunna vara lite större.

The bottle’s design looks good and feels nice to the touch. However, the bottle doesn’t have any insulation whatsoever. Adding hot, or even warm, water into the bottle heats up the outside of the bottle making it difficult to use. Built quality also feels lacklustre as the bottle weighs very little and probably has something to do with not being double walled.
